Soft Tissue Therapy

What can I expect?

What can I expect?

What can I expect?

Personalised treatment for pain, tension, restricted movement and musculoskeletal problems.

Soft Tissue Therapy is much more than massage.

I provide Soft Tissue Therapy from my welcoming home‑based clinic in Church Village, Pontypridd, combining clinical skill with a warm, person‑centred approach. Every session is tailored to your needs, helping you feel more relaxed, more mobile and more in control of your wellbeing.

Your appointment begins with and assessment so that I can understand what's happening, identify and red flags, and formulate a plan to work together towards your goals.

Treatment is then tailored to you and may include  a combination of hands on soft tissue techniques, massage, mobilisations, cupping, and dry needling where appropriate.

Where appropriate, I'll also provide advice and simple exercises or movement strategies to help you continue your progress between appointments.

Who can benefit?

Relaxation Massage

Relaxation Massage provides an opportunity to slow down, release general muscular tension and take time for yourself.

Treatment is adapted to your preferences, with a calm and comfortable approach designed to help you relax and unwind.    Add the Hot Stones to any relaxing massage treatment for a deeply relaxing experience.

Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy massage is a lovely holistic treatment to promote relaxation. It's an opportunity to take time for yourself.  The treatment focuses on addressing the unique physical and emotional changes that occur during pregnancy, and can help alleviate common discomforts due to altered posture and the increased weight of the uterus as baby grows.

Pregnancy massage is completely safe throughout the whole pregnancy.  If you are having any complications during the pregnancy such as bleeding please check with your midwife before booking your appointment.

Treatments can be carried out in a number of positions depending on your preference and tailored for your preference.  The aim to to keep you feeling as supported and "weightless" as possible to promote a deeply relaxing experience.  Each treatment is tailored to your needs.  Treatments can include back, neck, scalp, shoulder, arms, hands, legs, feet & bump.   Longer massage strokes are used to promote relaxation, and deeper work is avoided.
